Have you seen something in the neighbourhood that needs fixing by the local council? If so let them know – if they don’t know about it they won’t fix it!
There’s a great website called FixMyStreet that makes it really easy for everyone to let their council know what needs fixing.
At FixMyStreet you can report problems like fly-tipping, broken paving slabs, pot holes and graffiti with a single click. Plus – you can find out what problems other local have reported and get involved in a discussion about what’s happening to fix them.
All you need to do is find the place on the map, fill in a few details and send – easy, peasy lemon squeezy – just follow the instructions on the site and off you go.
There’s an app for that!If you’ve got an i-Phone there’s a couple of great apps that you can get – FixMyStreet and StreetReport which make it even easier to report things – just take a photo, let your phone find your location, fill in the details on your phone and click submit…Simples!
Don’t forget to update the site when whatever you’ve reported has been fixed (or have a rant if they have not!).
The latest reports that have been submitted to Fix My Street for the 4 local councils (Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton) in The Black Country can be seen in the boxes below.
